My name is Sarah, and I live in Kampala, Uganda. For many years, I endured a problem in my marriage that nearly broke my spirit. My husband, whom I truly loved, was kind in other ways but extremely tight-fisted when it came to money. Even though he earned a good salary every month, he never supported me or our children the way he should have. I was left to struggle alone—paying school fees, buying food, and meeting household needs. Whenever I asked him for money, he always came up with excuses or claimed he was saving for the future. Yet, I later discovered that he was spending on unnecessary things outside the home.

At first, I assumed it was just a passing phase. I prayed, pleaded, and even tried to have serious conversations with him about our situation, but nothing seemed to change. Over time, he became more withdrawn, and I started to feel like a single mother in my own marriage. My relatives noticed the stress I was going through, and some even advised me to leave him. But deep down, I wanted my marriage to succeed, and I believed there had to be a solution that would make him change.TO READ MORE, TAP HERE
