Bukoto South Member of Parliament, Dr. Twaha Kagabo, has revealed his latest acquisition – a Land Cruiser V8, colloquially known as ‘Mpa Enkoni.’ Kagabo asserts that this lavish gift comes from the First Son, Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba.

Affiliated with both the National Unity Platform (NUP) and the MK Movement, Kagabo claims that his life has markedly improved since aligning with the latter.

Displaying his new ride with the registration number UBP 715Y, he proudly states, “My life has changed for the better since I left the ‘struggle.”

The MP emphasizes that during his years in the ‘struggle,’ led by Bobi Wine, he received no rewards. However, since joining the MK Movement, he expresses contentment, encapsulated in the phrase, ‘obulaamu butambula nga weyabula,’ loosely translating to “life is moving as well as anticipated.”

As a trained medical doctor, Kagabo consistently emphasizes his affiliation with the MK Movement while remaining loyal to the NUP. He clarifies, “Subscribing to a party doesn’t mean dedicating all your sovereignty to it.”

Kagabo’s life moves the way he anticipated, but how about the electorates who voted for him? The problem we have in Africa is that leadership only benefits those in positions of public office to the detriment of the electorates, until the electorates demand our leaders to unit regardless of their political parties and reform the system of governance to focus on organizing the country’s resources for the benefit of Ugandans instead of singing party slogans we are going nowhere.
What do we lack in terms of resources? but we are kept in the continuous state of conflicts, NUP persuading us that we are more NUP than Ugandans NRM saying the same thing and when we find ourselves in that confused state we speak in language that only destroy the image of our people and import arms and jet fighters to kill fellow Ugandans as if we are clearing forests for plantation.

Uganda’s long-term solvation does not only requires but demands our unity, not venomous unity where opposition parties join to fight NRM no, I mean unity of ensuring that we harness our resources and change the eurocentric systems for the benefit of Ugandans,
