The Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) has confirmed that its planned protest against Members of Parliament who criticize General Muhoozi Kainerugaba will proceed as scheduled on February 10.

PLU Secretary General Daudi Kabanda made the announcement on social media, rallying supporters to stand against what he termed as irresponsible politicking by certain MPs.

He accused them of using attacks on Muhoozi—a serving Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and PLU Chairman—as a strategy to gain political and media attention.

“Enough is enough. Those looking for political and media publicity should try other antics,” Kabanda stated.

He emphasized that the protest is not against Parliament as an institution or its leadership, but against individual MPs who have allegedly made it a habit to attack Muhoozi for personal political gains.

Kabanda highlighted that Muhoozi has tolerated such criticism for years but insisted that the PLU will no longer allow what they view as baseless political maneuvering at the expense of their leader.

The upcoming protest signals growing tensions between Muhoozi’s supporters and sections of the political establishment.

While details on the protest route and security arrangements remain unclear, the announcement is expected to trigger political reactions from both supporters and critics of Uganda’s First Son.”Enough Is Enough” PLU Confirms Protest Against MPs Attacking General Muhoozi is Still On
