Before flying back to King Charles’s land the United Kingdom, Alison Anna Gabula exclusively narrated to the Kampala Eye how she survived arrest on the eve of the Kyabazinga’s wedding with Jovia Mutesi. She said that Brig. Gen. Christopher Sserunjogi Ddamulira the police’s Director in charge of Crime Intelligence was the first to know that she was in the country because of his deep intelligence.

Alison claims that Brig. Gen. Ddamulira made phone calls to her advising her not to attempt to disorganise Kyabazinga Wilberforce Gabula Nadiope’s wedding.Alison narrated that she was warned that if she has any claim against Gabula, let her institute a legal suit against him. Alison alleges that she told Damulira that that she spent millions of shillings to travel to Kampala from the United Kingdom to expose Gabula and she must execute the assignment.

After listening to her, the soft spoken Ddamulira hang up the phone. Few hours later, she received information that some of her contacts within Busoga and Kampala were surrounded and security operatives were moving to arrest her from the hotel she was operating her mission from.Sources close to Alison revealed that she took off from the hotel with all her belongings and jumped a bodaboda to Kasangati in Wakiso district and took cover in a guest house near Dr. Kizza Besigye’s home . She even switched off all her phones.

Friends close to her told the Kampala Eye that she later got a phone of one of the workers at the guest house which she elusively used to communicate to one of the top ministers in president Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s government who assured her that she was going to help her but she had to first avoid arrest.

“I was not in hiding, a person who was in hiding can follow whatever happens at Nadiope’s wedding. I sent my people there. The fight has just started,” Alison boasted.

She further said that her lawyers of Anne Cuthbert Solicitors in United Kingdom have instituted criminal charges of bigamy and children neglect against Kyabazinga and he will be arrested in United Kingdom next month because he is expected to attend his graduation.

Gabula has been pursuing his master’s degree in United Kingdom. This comes hours after controversial city lawyer Kassim Male Mabirizi also instituted a private prosecution and filed a criminal charge sheet of bigamy against Kyabazinga, wife Jovia Mutesi, Buganda Kingdom queen Sylivia Naginda Luswata and Dr. Steven Kazimba Mugalu the Archbishop of Uganda at Jinja Chief Magistrate Court.

“On Saturday 18th November 2023, at Christ Cathedral, Bugembe, Jinja North City Division, Jinja City, each one of the accused persons organised, participated in, officiated and witnessed a ceremony of marriage well aware that it was invalid, void and criminal by reason Nadiope Wilberforce having earlier contracted a marriage before a Registrar of Marriage in England, under the Marriage Act with Alison Anna in December 2016 at Milldam House Burnaby Road, Portsmouth PO13AF, Marriage Certificate AK594729L and during the continued of marriage,” Mabirizi stated in his charge sheet.

He noted that the accused persons once convicted will be imprisoned for a period of five years. However when presiding over the wedding, Dr. Kazimba declared that there was no claim stopping the King from marrying beautiful Mutesi.

The Royal wedding was attended by a number of dignitaries from Uganda and around the world.Nnaabagereka of Buganda Sylvia Nagginda signed as a witness to the the wedding of Gabula and Mutesi
