A 35-year-old Ugandan man and his female accomplice from Kawempe, who had been using unusual methods to con Mobile Money agents in Kibuye, finally faced the end of their fraudulent activities. According to one of the defrauded agents, the suspect had a unique way of carrying out his scams. Mr. Sam, one of the victims, shared that he never imagined he would send the conman UGX 5,000,000 after just a brief conversation with him. The suspect seemed to have a special technique to lure people into his trap.

Speaking to the media, the area DPC (Divisional Police Commander) confirmed that the suspect had been evading arrest for a long time. He reportedly used some herbal concoctions that enabled him to avoid police detection, almost making him appear “invisible” to authorities.

“Today, we are pleased to announce that with the help of Dr. Mugwenu, this suspect has finally been apprehended. Numerous Mobile Money agents had reported being defrauded by him. Honestly, this individual had left us perplexed as to the tricks he was using to steal such large sums of money,” the DPC explained.

However, after his arrest, the man was instructed to lead the police to his residence, where the community was left in shock. The house contained various witchcraft tools believed to be aiding him in his criminal activities. Additionally, Dr. Mugwenu was called in to reverse the powerful spells the suspect had been using, allowing him to regain normality so that his case file could be properly processed for legal action.
