Famous City Kidnapper Gunned Down By CMI Commandos After Kidnapping Egyptian Diplomat In Kampala

Security operatives in Kampala shot dead a top city Kidnapper who had demanded $ 40,000 totaling to shs 150m from a rich family in Kampala as a Ransom to release their kidnapped Person Spyreports has established. According to reliable security source, the kidnapped person has been identified as Muhammad Ali an Egyptian National and was working Egypt Embassy in Uganda. they demanded a ransom of shs 150 to have him released.

“If you want your person alive, just give us shs,150m or else we shall murder him,” Says a source from security who spoke to the family. The Sources says, the family was also intimidated that if they dare and report the matter to police, their person will also be killed.

The source adds that the family reported the matter to Jinja Road police but it was treated confidential for the seek of live of the kidnapped Child. Sources say the kidnappers took the Ali to Pearl motel located in Kiwumu cell, Buloba in Wakiso District.

The source says the security kept engaging the kidnappers pretending to be family members of Ali. “We kept bargaining with them to reduce on the price but they refused and we kept trailing them,” says a security source.

He added that their phone location was in Buloba and we followed them. Another source says, they got information they were hiding in pearl motel in Kiwumu Buloba and they decided to storm the place. “When they knew that were following them, they got out of the hotel and tried to run away but we were in their midist.

“We chased them while shooting in air and they branched off to wakiso road while driving a Toyota spacio. One person tried to jump and run away and we shot him on the head but others fled,” Says an operative who was in operation. He says, they took the spacio and they called Buloba police who picked the body to Mulago hospital mortuary.

When contacted Luke Owoyesigyire the Deputy Police spokesperson he confirmed the shooting. “Its true the Egyptian National went missing on 8th November and the family was asked a ransom of $40,000 .

The family reported the matter to police and the hunt for him started,” he said adding that the victim was last seen on driving his Car at garden city. He says intelligence kept trailing the kidnappers until today when they were intercepted in Buloba and one person was shot dead. He say one female suspect was arrested to help in investigations.

KIWUMU CHAIRMAN SPEAKS OUT

“When we contacted Kiwumu Chairman LC1 Sebugenyi Elias he says three car came chasing each other while firing bullets and one person tried to jump out and was shot dead. “There was a lot of chaos because people were very many but what I can say one person was shot in the head and died,”He said.
