Traditional healer Ssenga Kulanama is urging Pastor Bugingo to be interrogated on camera about the recent assassination attempt on his life and the death of his colleague.

In her plea to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, traditional healer Ssenga Kulanama has called for a thorough investigation into the recent assassination attempt on Pastor Bugingo’s life and the death of his colleague.

She specifically requests that Pastor Bugingo be interrogated on camera, believing that this will shed light on the incident and help uncover the truth.She has questioned how Bugingo dared to drive his car and take his deceased colleague Richard to Mulago Hospital immediately after the shooting, raising suspicions about the entire incident.

She passionately pleads for the president to instruct security agencies to thoroughly investigate the matter, ensuring that the truth is uncovered and justice is served.

Meanwhile, Security expert Charles Rwomushana dismissed concerns from the public regarding Bujingo’s seemingly unscathed appearance, emphasizing the escalating political tension in the country. He cautioned that the approaching succession battle for President Museveni’s position could lead to more casualties.

Senior Presidential Advisor and MK Movement spokesperson for Buganda, Joseph Tamale Mirundi, supported Rwomushana’s claim that Bujingo’s attack had political motives. Mirundi revealed that Bujingo became a target after associating with Gen. Muhoozi, who expressed interest in the presidency.

Mirundi explained that Bujjingo was listed among the unwanted people the day he met Museveni and started working with Gen. Muhoozi who also declared interest in the presidency. He said that when he was still President Museveni’s spokesperson, his boss was one evening watching different TV stations to know what was happening in the country from the media perspective when he landed on Salt television where Bujjingo was preaching.

Museveni was struck by the way Bujjingo preached especially his youth empowerment sermons.According to Mirundi, the President realized that Bujjingo’s preaching was different from other local born again pastors and he directed his handlers to arrange a meeting with him.

Mirundi asserted that Bujingo’s troubles intensified after leading prayers at Gen. Muhoozi’s birthday in 2019, sparking a silent war among religious figures who viewed him as a threat. The ongoing divorce battle with Teddy Naluswa further fueled attacks against Bujingo.
