He still lives in Fear, he still leaves in Shock, many questions continue surrounding the incident as events continue unfolding. Pastor Aloysius Bugingo of House Of Prayer Ministries International based in Makerere Kikoni survived an assassination attempt in the areas of Namungoona when unknown assailants opened fire at his vehicle.

The incident left his friend, church elder and SFC Body guard Richard Muhumuza dead. Pathologists are said to have found 10 bullet wounds and retrieved 7 bullets from his body. Muhumuza was laid to rest yesterday in Ssembabule district.

In speaking to the media about his bodyguard who has been his best friend, Bugingo says Muhumuza has always promised to take bullets for the House of prayer Ministries international to save his life.

Now after Forensic experts analyzing the few cartridges, bullets and projectiles retrieved, it has been revealed that the gun in this crime is not new, the forensic experts say the pistol that was used to kill vlogger Isma Olaxess in May last year is the same in the Bugingo Shooting.

Isma Olaxess was murdered in May 2023 outside his home in Kyanja, Nakawa Division in Kampala. His death came few days after the murder of minister Charles Okello Engola who was gunned down by his bodyguard Pte Wilson Sabiiti who also ended his life on the fateful day of 2nd May 2023.

Isma Olaxes was shot six time even though in total security collected nine cartridges.Bugingo’s bullet riddled vehicle was yesterday moved from the Directorate of Forensic Science (DFS) at Naguru police headquarters to the Criminal Investigations Directorate (CID) in Kibuli after the Directorate of Crime Intelligence and DFS agreed that it should be handed over to the CID headquarters.
