Ended In Tears? Singer Cindy Sanyu Speaks Out On Divorcing Her Husband Just Months After Their Wedding – Ugandans React

Celebrated dancehall singer Cinderella Sanyu, better known by her stage name Cindy, has broken silence on the allegations that her husband relocated to the United States.

For some days now, rumors have been making rounds suggesting that Cindy and her husband, Okuyo Prynce, are developing a boiling blood and that the latter even decided to find a new home in the U.S.During her most recent appearance in public, the singer poured cold water onto the allegations that have been spreading like wildfire.

According to Cindy, if such a thing were to happen, they would let their fans know about it before requesting them to await their official statement.In a video seen by the reporter, Cindy acknowledged that her superstar darling has a busy schedule, forcing him to travel abroad frequently, but always returns and is not permanently based elsewhere.

The mother of three went ahead to refute claims of any separation, saying that their relationship is still intact like never before.Cindy mentioned that they are committed to each other and their family, and any rumors suggesting otherwise are completely false.

The 2019 boom party hitmaker also expressed her frustration with the constant speculation surrounding her personal life, stating that it is unfair to spread baseless rumors without any evidence.Furthermore, Cindy Sanyu emphasized that she and her husband are a team, supporting each other in their respective careers and endeavors.

It should be recalled that on December 11, 2021, Cindy walked down the aisle with Prynce Joel Okuyo Atiku. The couple said their wedding vows at St Stephen’s church-Kisugu, witnessed by close family and friends.From the inception of their relationship, the couple has radiated love and adoration, capturing the hearts of fans and well-wishers alike.

Cindy and Prynce Okuyo welcomed their first child in January 2022, followed by the arrival of their second child in April 2023. Cindy Sanyu, born in 1985, has previously been blessed with a daughter named Amani Brunneti, born approximately 11 years ago during her previous relationship with Italian lover Mario Brunette.

The artist parted ways with Mario in 2014, navigating her journey as a single mother before finding love again with Prynce Okuyo. Cindy embarked on her musical journey in 2001 at the tender age of 16 when she participated in the Capital Radio All Stars Talent Search.

Her undeniable talent caught the attention of legendary producer Steve Jean, who subsequently teamed her up with Lilian Mbabazi and Jackie Chandiru to form the iconic music group Blu*3.
