Socialite and media personality Sheilah Gashumba is facing it hard on social media over her choice of outfit at the Kampala Brunch organized by fashion guru, Brian Ahumuza aka Abraynz.

This event took place at the Kampala Sheraton Hotel and all kinds of people were in attendance. But more so those with a ‘sophisticated’ sense of fashion. And among these was Sheilah. The controversial ex-model turned up in an all black long outfit. However, it was very transparent and you didn’t need any magnifying glass to see what’s inside.

As they say that birds of the same feathers flock together, she was in company of friends with equally the same outfits. When the videos and photos of the event started getting online, Sheilah was singled out for criticism.

“Today’s brunch outfits are so nice as long as it’s not my girlfriend putting them on,” said a social media user.

“But who’s going to marry these women?” Another wondered.

“I’ve seen fashion and I’ve seen fashion, so Ladies put on transparent tops to expose their boobs yet they cover the nipples with black tape .. If you’ve decided to show us .. Show us, if you die you die,” said comedian Salvador.

Sheilah is however known for not accepting any kind of criticism. She hit back right away at the critics. She said that those who want to wear long and covering outfits should go and ahead and do so because nobody prohibits them.On top of that, dress code does not guarantee whether you will get married or not.

This is not the first time that she’s getting stray bullets from social media users for skimpy dressing. Even her own father, Frank Gashumba complained about it sometime ago and lamented the shame and disappointment she had given him.

Unfortunately, it’s too late to reverse that for him because she’s already developed thick skin to any criticism. She does whatever makes her happy regardless of the repercussions.
