How I Ended the Constant Arguments with My Husband After He Left Our Bedroom

My name is Millicent. I live in Lang’ata with my husband Brian and our two daughters. When we tied the knot in 2017, everything felt just right. Brian was affectionate, driven, and we’d talk for hours no matter how tired we were. I often looked at him and felt grateful. We were the couple people admired and envied.

But things started to change with time. Our long chats turned into brief exchanges. The affection faded into silence. He began spending more time on his phone and coming home late. I assumed it was job-related pressure. I tried giving him space, made his favourite food, and organised fun family days. But instead of getting better, things fell apart even more.

We started clashing over tiny things. Asking why he was late would spark yelling. Suggesting a talk would end with him walking away. Eventually, he moved into the guest room and told me to leave him alone. The kids noticed something was wrong.
