Another Shocker!! Gen Muhoozi Breaks His Silence Regarding The War In Congo, See What He Said That Left Ugandans Talking

General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has proposed that the Uganda People’s Defence Force (UPDF) could take responsibility for securing the towns of Sake and Goma in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). However, this proposal comes with a condition: the removal of foreign mercenaries from the region. General Muhoozi shared this idea on social media, suggesting that, with the agreement of his father, DRC President Félix Tshisekedi, and Rwandan President Paul Kagame, the UPDF could step in to protect these strategic towns. He emphasized that the success of this mission would depend on the departure of “white mercenaries,” whose presence he views as a significant obstacle.
Sake and Goma, located in eastern DRC, have been plagued by ongoing conflict and instability due to armed groups operating in the area. The involvement of foreign mercenaries has been a contentious issue, with different factions employing them for various purposes. General Muhoozi’s proposal aims to bring stability to these regions through a cooperative effort led by regional leaders. If accepted, the UPDF’s involvement could bring much-needed security to the area, leveraging its experience in regional peacekeeping missions. However, the condition of removing foreign mercenaries presents potential diplomatic and logistical hurdles, which could complicate the execution of this plan.
General Muhoozi’s suggestion highlights the persistent challenges in securing peace in eastern DRC, where conflict has long disrupted the region. As discussions continue, the prospect of the UPDF playing a key role in securing Sake and Goma presents a potential shift in the region’s security dynamics, with far-reaching implications for both local and international peacekeeping efforts.
