BREAKING NEWS!! Museveni Furious After Allegedly Discovering That Besigye’s Arrest Was Plotted & Fake, Plan Leaks On How Besigye Was Allegedly Framed & Arrested, Spy Chiefs In Big Trouble

President Yoweri Museveni is said to be extremely angry after discovering that the arrest of opposition leader Dr. Kizza Besigye in Nairobi may have been based on false or misleading intelligence. According to reliable sources, top officials from Uganda’s security agencies, including the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) and the Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS), are now under investigation for possibly staging the arrest for personal or political gain.
Dr. Besigye and his aide Abed Lutale were recently arrested in a high-profile operation allegedly linked to rebel activity and foreign arms deals. However, new information suggests that the entire operation may have been planned without proper evidence. The individual said to be the key foreign arms dealer, reportedly a European national, has since disappeared, casting doubt on the entire case.
Adding to the president’s frustration, British businessman David Greenhalgh, who was previously named in connection with the plot, has distanced himself from the matter. He is reported to have declined involvement due to legal concerns. Meanwhile, video and photo evidence that supposedly showed Besigye training rebel forces in Kenya and Zambia has now been exposed as fake or manipulated.
This development has embarrassed the government and raised serious questions about the integrity of Uganda’s intelligence operations. President Museveni is reportedly considering taking strong action against the senior officials involved. Sources say he feels misled and betrayed, and he may soon order the arrest or dismissal of some top spy chiefs.
The situation has also created a political headache for the president. Releasing Besigye without a solid explanation could harm his credibility, but continuing to hold him without evidence may invite criticism both locally and internationally.
Despite the controversy, Dr. Besigye has accepted the role of president of the People’s Front for Transition (PFF) and will be their presidential candidate in the 2026 elections. Prominent opposition figures Erias Lukwago and Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda had reportedly turned down the nomination, paving the way for Besigye’s return to the political frontline.
This unfolding story has caused tension within Uganda’s top security and political institutions, as the president tries to regain control and restore public trust.
