Dorothy Nambuba Mutsaka, a passionate teacher and community advocate, has formally declared her candidacy for the Woman Member of Parliament seat for Bududa District in the 2026 elections. With the motivating slogan “Time For Action,” Dorothy is calling on the people of Bududa to unite with her in demanding real change, meaningful development, and tangible results.

Born and raised in Kuushu Town Council, Dorothy has a deep understanding of the challenges facing Bududa—ranging from poor infrastructure and limited access to healthcare, to unemployment, inadequate education, and the ongoing underrepresentation of women and youth in leadership. Her decision to run is driven by her love for her community and a firm belief that the time for change is now.

Dorothy’s journey hasn’t been easy, but it has made her a strong and determined leader. She progressed through various education levels and became a professional teacher, a role that instilled in her the values of responsibility, service, and lifting others. Through years of teaching and mentoring, she has developed a results-driven approach, valuing action and follow-through over empty promises.

Her leadership qualities have been clear since youth, where she earned the trust and respect of her peers. Tested by life’s challenges, Dorothy has consistently shown courage, dependability, and focus—qualities that now compel her to serve Bududa at a higher level.

Dorothy is clear that she is not entering politics for titles or personal gain but to bring real, visible change to her district. She wants to represent women, youth, single mothers, and communities often overlooked by leaders who make promises without delivering. She believes Bududa needs a grounded, present leader ready to produce real results.

Her priorities include improving education standards in rural areas, expanding healthcare access, empowering women and youth with skills and opportunities, and enhancing infrastructure and disaster preparedness in a district frequently affected by landslides and climate issues. Dorothy pledges to be a leader who listens, consults, and works hand in hand with the people.

Dorothy Nambuba Mutsaka invites the people of Bududa to believe again—in her leadership and in the hope of a better future. With honesty, dedication, and action as her guiding principles, she asks for your trust and vote in 2026. Support Dorothy, and together, you can make a lasting difference. The time for action is now.
