EXPOSED!! Videos & Photos That Were Claimed To Show Besigye Training Rebels In Zambia & Kenya Have Been Found Out To Be Fake, Museveni Allegedly Left Heart Broken

President Yoweri Museveni is reportedly incensed after learning that the recent arrest of opposition leader Dr. Kizza Besigye in Nairobi was based on misleading or false intelligence. According to sources close to State House, the president feels misled by top intelligence officials who may have used the operation to advance personal interests.
Dr. Besigye and his aide, Abed Lutale, were detained in what was described as a high-stakes security move. Ugandan intelligence agencies accused him of collaborating with foreign rebel groups and a suspected European arms dealer. However, those allegations are rapidly falling apart under scrutiny.
Investigators have found no credible evidence to support the claims. The alleged arms dealer has vanished, and video and photographic material supposedly linking Besigye to rebel training camps in Zambia and Kenya have been exposed as doctored or entirely fake.
The incident has sparked embarrassment and internal turmoil within Uganda’s intelligence community. Agencies such as the Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) and the Directorate of Intelligence and Security (DIS) now face allegations of incompetence and internal sabotage. British businessman David Greenhalgh, once named as a possible collaborator, has publicly distanced himself, citing potential legal and diplomatic consequences.
President Museveni is said to be weighing serious disciplinary measures against senior intelligence officials involved in the operation. Insiders claim he believes they deliberately manipulated information to stage a politically motivated arrest, damaging the government’s credibility in the process.
The president now finds himself in a political dilemma: releasing Besigye could be seen as a retreat, while holding him without evidence risks domestic outrage and international criticism.
Despite the controversy, Dr. Besigye is moving forward. He has officially taken the helm of the People’s Front for Transition (PFT) and will be their presidential candidate in the 2026 elections. With other prominent opposition leaders like Erias Lukwago and Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda declining the nomination, Besigye once again steps into the national spotlight to challenge Museveni’s decades-long rule.
