“Men Should Make DNA Testing A Must, Women Of Nowadays Come From Lodges To Home, They Make Their Husbands Struggle Raise Kids Of Other Men” Frank Gashumba Advises

Outspoken Ugandan activist and media personality Frank Gashumba has once again ignited public debate—this time by advocating for mandatory DNA testing in modern relationships and marriages. According to Gashumba, societal dynamics have shifted, and many men may unknowingly be raising children who are not biologically theirs, largely due to what he describes as rising levels of infidelity among women.

Gashumba expressed his concerns by questioning the trustworthiness of some married women, claiming that while appearing loyal at home, they may be engaging in secret affairs. He warned that this trend poses a serious emotional and financial risk, particularly to men who invest time and resources into raising children that may not be theirs.

> “In today’s world, a man can spend his life working hard for a child who belongs to another man who doesn’t even care,” Gashumba said during a heated discussion. “This is not just betrayal—it’s theft.”

He suggested that DNA testing should be as routine as pregnancy or HIV tests, especially after childbirth or early in a relationship. According to him, the proposal is not rooted in distrust but in the need to protect men from long-term consequences.

His remarks have drawn mixed reactions on social media. Supporters argue that DNA tests could ensure fairness and transparency in families, while critics accuse Gashumba of promoting mistrust and generalizing women’s behavior. Many women have voiced outrage, saying his statements fuel division and suspicion in marriages.

Still, a number of men have applauded his boldness, saying he is voicing concerns that are often ignored or silenced. With cases of hidden paternity becoming more widely reported in parts of Africa, some believe the issue warrants serious attention—even if it remains controversial.

Regardless of where one stands, Gashumba’s comments have opened up a critical conversation: Should DNA testing become a standard practice in relationships today? Or does it reflect a deeper crisis of trust between partners? One thing is certain—the traditional understanding of family and loyalty is being reevaluated in light of modern realities.
