SAD NEWS!! Another Senior UPDF Officer Dies In A Road Accident Along Mbarara-Masaka Highway
A senior officer in the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF), Lt. Juliet Mbasalaki, tragically lost her life in a road accident on the Mbarara–Masaka highway yesterday evening. Lt. Mbasalaki, who was stationed with the 2nd Infantry Division in Mbarara, was killed when the motorcycle she was riding collided with a Global bus (registration UBE 688R). Eyewitnesses reported that the crash occurred suddenly, giving little time for either vehicle to avoid the collision. Emergency responders arrived at the scene quickly, but Lt. Mbasalaki succumbed to her injuries before she could be rushed to the hospital.
A dedicated and respected officer, Lt. Mbasalaki was known for her professionalism, hard work, and commitment to her duties in the UPDF.
