Dorothy Nambuba Mutsaka, a teacher and passionate leader, has officially declared her intention to contest for the position of Woman Member of Parliament for Bududa District in the 2026 elections. With the bold and clear message, “Time For Action,” Dorothy is calling on the people of Bududa to rise with her and demand real change, real development, and real results.

Born and raised in Kuushu Town Council, Dorothy understands the daily struggles of the people in Bududa from poor infrastructure and limited access to health services, to the challenges of unemployment, lack of quality education, and the continued underrepresentation of women and youth in decision-making spaces. Her desire to run for Parliament comes from her deep love for her people and a strong conviction that the time to act is now.

Dorothy’s journey through life has not been easy, but it has shaped her into the determined leader she is today. She passed through various levels of education and became a professional teacher a career that taught her the value of responsibility, service, and lifting others up. Through years of teaching and mentoring, Dorothy has grown into a results-oriented woman, one who believes in action more than words, and one who finishes what she starts.

From a young age, Dorothy’s leadership qualities were clear. She stood out among her peers as someone people could trust and turn to. Her leadership has been tested over time, both in personal life and professional spaces, and she has always emerged dependable, courageous, and focused. These qualities have now compelled her to step forward and offer herself for a bigger task to represent and serve the people of Bududa in Parliament.

Dorothy says she is not entering politics for titles or personal gain. She is stepping into this race to bring real and visible change to her district. She wants to be a voice for the women, youth, single mothers, and communities that have been forgotten by leaders who make promises and never act. She believes Bududa needs a leader who is present, grounded, and ready to deliver results on the ground.

Her key priorities include improving education standards in rural areas, ensuring better healthcare for all, and empowering women and youth with skills and opportunities to thrive. She is also passionate about improving roads and disaster preparedness in a district often affected by landslides and climate-related challenges. She pledges to be an active leader who listens, consults, and works hand in hand with the people.

Dorothy Nambuba Mutsaka is inviting the people of Bududa to believe again not just in her, but in the dream of a better and more dignified life. With honesty, commitment, and action at the center of her vision, she is asking for your trust and your vote in 2026. Support her, and you will not regret it. The time for waiting is over. It is Time For Action.
