Presidential aspirant John Katumba has unveiled a bold promise that is capturing attention across Uganda: free housing for young couples who get married, if he emerges victorious in the 2026 general election.
In an interview with Next Radio, Katumba revealed that each newly married couple would receive a two-bedroom house with a living room. He said that supporting couples at this stage is essential for building strong families and resilient communities.
