ANITA AMONG’S BITTER DOWNFALL: Tamale Mirundi Reveals The Two Biggest Mistakes That Will Cost Her Everything For All Her Life , How Church Misled Her

The United Kingdom has recently sanctioned Uganda’s speaker of parliament, Anita Among, along with former ministers. The sanctions include freezing of their assets within the UK, travel bans preventing their entry into the country, and restrictions that prohibit UK citizens and businesses from dealing with them.
Sanctioned alongside Among is the former minister of Karamoja Affairs Mary Grace Kitutu and her former NTV journalist and Kitutu’s former junior minister Agnes Nandutu. When asked about her involvement in corrupt schemes, Anita Among, Speaker of the parliament in Kampala, usually argues she is being singled out by foreigners for her energetic promotion of the Anti-Homosexuality Act last year.
But in the face of British sanctions against Among and two former ministers, these tactics proving less effective this time. Opposition activists have stepped up their criticism and fellow ruling party members aren’t springing to her defence.
Now Senior presidential adviser on media Joseph Tamale Mirundi has stated that women are always used to fight long serving presidents because of the public sympathy they receive if attacked by presidents in power.Among is also well connected to the catholic church and has held several private meetings with Pope Francis; such signals scare the Deep State.
He explained that Among was naïve to parade her multimillion wealth before the public because that’s when her enemies started strategizing on how to discredit her before right thinking members of the public as a corrupt person who cannot be trusted with State power.Mirundi accused religious leaders especially the Archbishop of the Church of Uganda, Dr. Stephen Kazimba Mugalu and Mufti Sheikh Shaban Mubajje of misleading Among on the Homosexuality bill.
He said that what Among did was like threatening Museveni’s local popularity because by not signing the bill into a law, his enemies especially National Unity Platform’s Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (Bobi Wine) would have used it as a campaign tool to tell the public that Museveni refused to sign the homosexuality bill so he supports the vice.B
ugweri county legislator Abdul Katuntu confirmed that Museveni summoned them at Entebbe State House and explained to them the danger of the bill they wanted him to sign into a law but sources allege that because Among did not listen, Museveni decided to sign the bill knowing very well that it backfire on her and other legislators who supported the bill.
Mirundi explained that Super powers are going to fight and make sure that Among losses the parliamentary speakership to scare other African Speakers.Mirundi added that Homosexuality supporters are very powerful individuals and they control the world. And because Museveni understands this very well, that’s why he was very careful when Among and other people started jumping and chest thumping after passing the bill as a way of scoring political goals.
Sources said that Museveni cannot fight for Among against the sanctions because he also wants to use her saga as a tool to mend his diplomacy troubles especially involving his longtime ally the United Kingdom.Kira Municipality legislator Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda recently revealed that there is a plan to force Among out of the Speaker’s office insisting that Ssekikubo is President Museveni’s henchman who he uses to fight his political wars.
He supposed that during the 2005 presidential term limit period, Ssekikubo was driving a car with State House number plate. On several occasions, Ssekikubo has pressurized Among to allow Members of Parliament to discuss the corruption allegation placed on parliament leadership.
Among is one of the architects of Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Act, 2023, which has been dubbed the “Kill the Gays” law. This law has been dubbed one of the harshest anti-LGBT+ laws, with mandatory automatic life imprisonment for consenting same-sex acts, and the death penalty for serial offenders and for the elderly LGBT+ couples aged 75 and over who have sex.
Additionally , The corruption and bribery scandal, characterized by extravagant spending and misuse of public funds, has since sparked outrage among citizens, shedding light on the murky depths of political corruption within Country Uganda. Reports surfaced as early as January 2023, when bank statements purportedly belonging to Among’s personal assistant and bodyguard revealed suspicious fraud-prone transactions involving significant sums of money transferred from the parliament’s account to personal accounts, only to be withdrawn as cash.
In the past, Anita Among has been able to use her political brilliance and loyalty to the powers-that-be to rise to the top of politics, but her recent mistakes have led to her downfall .
