“Bobi Wine Is The One Behind The Gun Attack On Pastor Bugingo” Frank Gashumba Says

The news about the shooting of pastor Aloysius Bugingo of House of Prayer Ministries International and Salt media was first shared by his friend and MK project crusader Frank Gashumba and any one else picked it from his Facebook page to spread the news indicating that the pastor has been attacked and admitted at Mulago hospital. After like two hours of the incident, Gashumba would later post on his facebook page indicating that he has spoken to pastor Bugingo and is out of danger but his assistant Richard didn’t make.

According to Bugingo and police, the pastor drove off to Mulago hospital himself in a bid to save the life of his bodyguard who was pronounced dead upon arrival.Police continues to investigate and the assailants are yet to be known and brought to book. But before that happens, Frank Gashumba who is MK Movement’s chairperson for Central Uganda has drawn the blame of shooting at pastor Bugingo and attributed it to the opposition especially Bobi Wine’s NUP claiming that they want the pastor dead because he supports president Museveni and MK Movement.

Speaking at the Burial of Corporal Richard Muhumuza in Ssembabule last Friday, Gashumba claimed the blame goes to NUP “If you shot at Bugingo threatening him to go silent, you just made him to speak more. They accuse Bugingo that he defends NRM and president Museveni. Others attack him that he defends MK, JESUS!!!. We have seen religious leaders praying for Kyagulanyi. That’s the Uganda i deem to live in. If Bugingo prays for Museveni, let him do so, if another Bishop prays for Kyagulanyi do so. Why do you decide for me whom i should support. You people of NUP let me tell you, if you think you will threaten people, you won’t threaten us. To you NRM people, why do you accept to be belittled when you’re the one in power, i don’t understand this, my mother is the cook and i eat from the neighborhood?”-Says Frank Gashumba.

Police said it reached the scene of crime when it had been tampered with and was reviewing the CCTV footage to pick any crews about the assailants. Ballistic Experts have already concluded that the gun used in the Bugingo incident is the same that killed Blogger Isma Olaxes in May last year at his home in Kyanja.

Ntinda based Radio 4 which is owned by Balaam Barugahare has allocated a whole two hours from 9am to 11am this morning to Frank Gashumba who is set unveil secrets behind the Bugingo shooting. You may wonder why police doesn’t pick clues from Gashumba even before he takes the secrets on radio.

While commenting on the Bugingo incident, National Unity Platform principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine revealed that whenever such killings happen, it only leaves Ugandans with questions on who is next because police never brings out conclusive reports.

He also said he was shocked but not surprised and despite Bugingo being hateful to their struggle he asked his supporters to pray for him as he quoted Mathew 5:44-45 which states that “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you”.

The army has taken over Bugingo’s security at his home in Namayumba Wakiso district, at Canaan land and everywhere he would move too to guard him. When such murders happen, president Museveni has been attributing them to the Pigs and sometimes to the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) but he’s yet to come out on this particular one of Bugingo.

Museveni’s son Muhoozi Keinerugaba whom Bugingo supports his entire life came out via his socials and sympathised with Bugingo and asked for immediate action and also demanded for answers from the investigating bodies whom he ordered to quicken up the process. Police is yet to record a formal statement from pastor Aloysious Bugingo almost a week after the incident.
