Joseph Mukasa, a community-driven leader from Makindye-Sabagabo, recently visited the Mutungo Kigo Skilling Center, reinforcing his commitment to hands-on leadership. The center, which offers practical training to both youth and the elderly, has become a crucial hub for personal empowerment, and Mukasa’s visit underscored his dedication to initiatives that create tangible opportunities for the community.

During the tour, trainees proudly displayed their work, including tailoring products and handmade books, demonstrating the effectiveness of the programs offered. Mukasa’s involvement in community development extends beyond politics. Over the years, he has consistently supported youth training, assisted women in starting small businesses, and improved access to essential healthcare. By working closely with local schools, health workers, and community leaders, he has addressed everyday challenges head-on, earning a reputation as a dependable problem-solver.

For Mukasa, leadership is defined by action, not words. His focus on self-reliance and skills development is evident in his direct engagement with trainees, encouraging them to hone their talents and build a foundation for independence. Practical skills such as tailoring and bookmaking empower individuals to generate their own opportunities and contribute meaningfully to the community.

In Makindye-Sabagabo, Mukasa is widely seen as a leader committed to service. Beyond political ambitions, he is remembered for helping widows rebuild homes, mentoring youth, and advocating for community support where government resources are limited. As he prepares to run for Member of Parliament in 2026 under the National Unity Platform, his supporters trust his record of consistent action as proof of reliable leadership.

Mukasa’s approach emphasizes measurable results: improved infrastructure, youth job creation, enhanced healthcare, and accountability in public spending. Despite past electoral setbacks, his dedication to serving the community has strengthened his influence. His leadership embodies empathy, consistency, and proactive engagement, proving that true leaders listen, empower, and act at the grassroots level.
