Is Bobi Wine’s NUP Really Using Drones To Abduct It’s Supporters? LoP Ssenyonyi Reveals Shocking Details About Their Alleged Safe Houses

The Leader of the Opposition, Joel Ssenyonyi, has criticized as illogical the assertions that opposition supporters are being seized with the use of drones and firearms, and subsequently confined in government penitentiaries and safe houses.
“Is it conceivable that the opposition is employing drones and firearms to abduct its own supporters and subsequently transfer them to government prisons and safe houses?” Ssenyonyi said .
His remarks came in response to a statement by Moses Ssimbwa, a self-professed activist from the National Unity Platform (NUP), who had previously accused the government of subjecting him to torture.
Addressing the audience at the NRM 38th liberation celebrations in Jinja, Ssimbwa admitted to being manipulated by the opposition into fabricating torture claims against the government. He admitted that opposition politicians had exploited his vulnerable situation to further their own interests.
“Politicians took me to Nairobi and instructed me to allege that I was tortured by the Ugandan government. I apologize for everything that occurred. They took advantage of us because we were desperate for money,” he confessed in the presence of President Museveni.
Ssimbwa clarified that his injuries were actually the result of an accident and not the alleged torture he had previously asserted. He explained that after being in hiding for the past three years, he approached Milly Babalanda, the Minister for Presidency, seeking assistance due to deteriorating health conditions resulting from the accident.
In response to the allegations, President Museveni remarked that the government is cognizant of the opposition’s exploitation of Ugandans for its own nefarious purposes and self-serving agenda.
“We are fully aware of this deceitful opposition group, and we will expose their true intentions at the appropriate time,”He Stated.
