In a surprising twist, Lawyer Medard Ssegona has been denied the National Unity Platform (NUP) nomination for Busiro East County, even after publicly kneeling before party president Bobi Wine and apologizing. The decision has left many of his supporters stunned and questioning its fairness.
Ssegona’s public act of humility was widely reported. He went down on his knees before Bobi Wine, expressing regret for past actions that may have strained his relationship with the party. Many viewed this gesture as a sincere effort to reconcile and show loyalty to NUP.
