Just Pretending!! Erais Lukwago Breaks His Silence Regarding Muhoozi’s Request To Take Over Kampala, Exposes This About Him

Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has strongly reacted to General Muhoozi Kainerugaba’s proposal that President Yoweri Museveni should hand over full control of Kampala to him, with the aim of transforming the city and eliminating corruption. General Muhoozi, who also serves as the Chief of Defence Forces (CDF), expressed his frustration on social media regarding the deteriorating state of Kampala’s road infrastructure. He suggested that if the situation does not improve soon, he would ask President Museveni to place the city under the management of the Uganda People’s Defence Forces (UPDF) for faster action.
In his post on X, Muhoozi mentioned that the UPDF was being improved and would soon be among the best in the world, but he emphasized that the crumbling roads in Kampala remained his biggest concern. He further hinted that he might request his father, President Museveni, to place the entire city under the UPDF’s control in order to address the issues swiftly.
In response, Lord Mayor Lukwago did not hesitate to criticize Muhoozi, accusing him of being unaware of the ongoing efforts to address the city’s road problems. Lukwago reminded Muhoozi that nearly a year ago, under the direct orders of President Museveni, the UPDF Special Forces Command (SFC) had already been tasked with fixing the potholes in Kampala. Lukwago questioned why Muhoozi appeared to be unaware of this and suggested that the CDF’s comment reflected poorly on his understanding of the situation.
