Lubowa John Bosco, a dedicated member of the National Unity Platform (NUP) and aspiring Member of Parliament for Buvuma Constituency, is on a mission to transform the lives of his constituents. As a fisherman and farmer himself, Lubowa has a deep understanding of the challenges faced by the people of Buvuma Islands and its 7 sub-counties.

With his roots firmly planted in the community, Lubowa is committed to addressing the pressing issues that have long plagued Buvuma. Top of his agenda are:

– Reliable Transportation: Lubowa recognizes the need for a dependable transportation system, which is currently lacking in the area.
– Improved Healthcare: He is deeply concerned about the struggles of pregnant mothers in accessing quality healthcare and vows to make a positive impact.
– Education and Skills Development: Lubowa plans to establish a technical institute to equip the youth with valuable skills.
– Infrastructure Development: He aims to improve the main road from Kironko Port to Kulwe, which is currently under UNRA’s management.
– Enhanced Ferry Services: Lubowa intends to negotiate with ferry operators and the Ministry of Works and Transport to increase the number of ferry trips, particularly on Sundays.

Lubowa’s passion for his community is evident in his words and actions. As a proud owner of a vast eucalyptus tree farm in Buwooya sub-county, he is committed to using his resources to benefit the people of Buvuma.

With his campaign focused on empowering the community and addressing their most pressing concerns, Lubowa John Bosco is undoubtedly a strong contender for the Member of Parliament seat in Buvuma Constituency.
