Museveni’s Blue Eyed Boy Gifts Ex-Girlfriend With Land Worth 51 Million After Embracing The NRM Commercial Ideology
Every 6th February, Uganda Peoples Defence Forces commemorates Tarehe Sita through community engagements. Activities such as medical camps, cleaning, remembering fallen comrades and sharing ideological orientation barazas that focus on mindset change and development through wealth creation are shared.
These military-civil engagements rekindle a successful partnership that did not only bring the National Resistance Movement to power but also transformed Uganda from the brink of a failed state to a rapidly developing and respected country of today.
This year’s celebrations took place in Busesa, Bugweri District, under a theme: “Celebrating the Peoples’ Struggle for Unity, Security, and Peace for Socio-Economic Transformation.” During the week-long activities, the army’s engineering brigade carried out several renovations and constructions in Busoga region including a two-classroom block in Namayingo and a maternity ward at Dohwe.
The Tarehe Sita training event, graced by Deputy Prime Minister Justine Kasule Lumumba, Former Speaker of Parliament Hon Rebecca Kadaga, Minister of State for Defence Hon Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, and Specioza Wandira Kazibwe, Former Vice President of Uganda, was a fitting backdrop for such a momentous occasion. Prime Minister Rt. Hon Robinah Nabbanja closed the event, highlighting the significance of unity and progress in Uganda’s socio-economic landscape.
The training, organized by the office of the Chief Political Commissar (CPC), under the leadership of Maj Gen Henry Masiko, set the stage for Amon’s grand gesture.
As the incoming national Chairperson of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) youth league, Amon exemplified the party’s commitment to youth empowerment and community development.During the Tarehe Sita celebrations, Bagonza Amon Baguma, the Team Leader of the Famous Seven 4 Seven Youth Mobilizational Agenda, made a remarkable gesture.
He surprised his ex-girlfriend, Ms. Yvonne Kasubo Baguma, a recent graduate from Makerere University, with a generous gift—a piece of land. This wasn’t just any piece of land; it was valued at 51 million Ugandan shillings, comprising an acre and 34 decimals. Amon’s gesture wasn’t driven by nostalgia but rather by a vision for the future. Yvonne had expressed her commitment to empowering fellow female graduates by tackling post-education unemployment through commercial agriculture.
Inspired by Mr. Richard Nyakana’s model, she vowed to utilize the land to create opportunities for others.Amidst the political fervor and patriotic zeal of the occasion, Amon’s gift symbolized more than a personal gesture; it embodied hope, empowerment, and a vision for a brighter future for Uganda’s youth.
Baguma Amon Bagonza emerges as a prominent figure in Ugandan politics, vying for the Chairman position of the National Resistance Movement (NRM) Youth League. With a fervent dedication to President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, Bagonza embodies the spirit of activism and mobilization within the youth demographic.
His leadership of the Seven 4 Seven Youth Mobilizational Agenda underscores his commitment to grassroots engagement and political participation. As he navigates the complexities of NRM politics, Bagonza’s aspirations signal a new chapter in youth involvement within the ruling party, poised to shape its future direction under the enduring leadership of President Museveni.
