In a blistering attack, outspoken opposition MP Ssemujju Nganda has unleashed a scathing critique of President Museveni’s cabinet choices, questioning the competence and effectiveness of top officials.

During a heated political show earlier today, Ssemujju singled out Prime Minister Robinah Nabbanja, Vice President Jessica Alupo, and Speaker of Parliament Anita Among as “extremely vulnerable” individuals in positions of power.

Ssemujju’s verbal barrage didn’t hold back, asserting that none of these figures offer meaningful advice to the president.

“None of these people can give Museveni real advice! He knows that!” he declared, dismissing their capabilities and highlighting what he sees as a lack of leadership.

The Kira Municipality MP pointed to a recent cabinet retreat, where Museveni delegated leadership to his wife, Janet Museveni, instead of the senior cabinet members. This move, Ssemujju argued, underscores the president’s lack of confidence in his top officials.

“Ask yourself why Museveni didn’t let Nabbanja, Alupo, or Among take over. Why? Because he knows they can only salute him and rush to implement orders! They can’t lead!” Ssemujju charged, his words landing like verbal punches.

Ssemujju’s criticism extends beyond individual capabilities, targeting the broader systemic issues within Museveni’s government. He contends that the president’s appointments prioritize loyalty over expertise, resulting in ineffective governance.

“Museveni’s cabinet is filled with yes-men and women who can’t challenge his decisions,” Ssemujju asserted.

The controversy surrounding Ssemujju’s comments has sparked intense debate among Ugandans and political pundits. Some praise his boldness, while others accuse him of fueling division and undermining the government’s authority.

As Ssemujju remains a vocal critic of the establishment, his remarks await an official response from those named. The implications of Ssemujju’s statements are far-reaching, raising questions about the future of Uganda’s leadership and governance.

Will his criticisms prompt change, or will they fall on deaf ears? Only time will tell.In the meantime, Ugandans continue to watch the unfolding drama with bated breath.

As the country navigates its complex political landscape, one thing is certain: Ssemujju Nganda’s unflinching critiques will remain a thorn in the side of the establishment.
