In a video he posted on his social media handles on Wednesday evening, Bobi Wine rallied his supporters and other forces of change to storm the streets in Kampala and plant banana stems and banana suckers in potholes found on Kampala streets.

He also mentioned that himself will make storm the streets too. This didn’t happen yesterday according to plan as police and military placed him under siege in what they described as preventive arrest. Not him alone, even the Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago was pushed back into his home and up to to now he’s still under house arrest.

Besigye who planted banana suckers in the road leading to Kampala from Kayunga via Kasangati also didn’t make it as he was placed under house arrest. However, in a dramatic turn of events, Bobi Wine has surprised the military after escaping house detention and made it to the streets in Katwe and planted a banana suckers in potholes around that place in a robadoba style as he normally says.

Taking to his social media platforms, Bobi Wine cryptically laughed at the military which is placed at his home saying as they’re guarding his home and premises in Magere thinking he is inside, he’s already in the city doing what he’s meant to do.

By escaping from house detention, Bobi Wine has left the military and police yawning and cursing the hell of the escape route he used to storm the city with all the intelligence guns and man power placed on him in Magere.

This is not the first time Bobi Wine is escaping house detention, he has severally beaten security at their own game. They confine him in his home and hear him elsewhere. In 2019, he escaped from heavy military when he was placed under house detention only for him to emerge in Bugiri at the burial of Lyavala.
