President Museveni’s ‘YKM’ Labelled Cows Leaves Ugandans Shocked , Photos Storm The Internet

President Museveni recently convened with Kenya’s political heavyweights at his Kisozi farm. President William Ruto and his political adversary Raila Amolo Odinga, the former presidential candidate in Kenya’s past general elections, including the 2022 polls, were in Uganda earlier this week.
They arrived in the country and met with Museveni at his Gomba farm. The primary focus of this unexpected visit by the two Kenyan political leaders was Raila’s recent candidacy for the African Union Commission Chairperson, seeking to succeed Moussa Faki Mahamat from Chad, whose seven-year term since 2017 is nearing its end.
Since announcing his candidacy for this African Union role, President William has been rallying support for his rival, and Museveni indeed endorsed Odinga for the position. If successful, Odinga will be ineligible to participate in Kenya’s 2027 general elections, as the role prohibits active involvement in partisan politics.
Amidst these developments, observers noted an interesting detail about Museveni’s cattle at his Kisozi farm in Gomba. It appears that all his cows are marked with the initials YKM, representing Yoweri Kaguta Museveni, on their right thigh. This measure is implemented to facilitate the identification of Museveni’s cows from others.
Recently, President Yoweri Museveni, claimed he is content with his cows at home and has no desire for power. He made this statement while supporting Samuel Engola at a political rally. Samuel Engola was running for office in the Oyam North by-election under the banner of his party, the National Resistance Movement (NRM).
Museveni asserted that he has never been motivated by gaining favor with the government during his political conflict with previous leaders to lobby for the election of a party member.
“…have got everything in my home. I have my cows and I’m not getting anything from the government. Even when we were fighting Idi Amin, we were not looking for anything personal,” he said as quoted by Daily Monitor.
He further stated that his party’s interest is to serve the people of Uganda and those of Oyam District, and will be committed to continue working on the reforms the late Egola had started off.
