Speaker Anita Among UK Sanctions!! Famous MP Reveals Why UK, Canada Will Never Forgive Among , Her Bank Accounts Freezed As Among Blames Government For Not Siding With Her

Veteran politician Abdul Katuntu, who is also Bugweri County MP and a leading advisor to Speaker Anita Among, has this Saturday morning explained why he isn’t surprised at all that the UK on 30th April proclaimed sanctions on the Bukedea Woman MP.

Appearing on Capital Gang this Saturday morning, Katuntu was compelled by the very persuasive case that was made by lawyer Edgar Tabaro to concede that the UK restrictions will gradually make life very complicated for Anita Among, contrary to what her very unsophisticated and fortune-hunting supporters in Parliament have been parroting on radio and TV.

Counsel Edgar Tabaro, renowned for being very insightful on diplomacy and foreign relations, suggested that Among had better become serious by engaging serious consultants and handlers on how manage the diplomatic situation going forward because she will soon begin to feel the impact of those sanctions in a very personal way. Tabaro made reference to possibilities like not being able to get a visa card issued in her name to facilitate online transactions, not being able to have her child study at any prestigious University abroad or even attend a relative’s graduation or any other big day there. There are also constraints related to not being able to access benefits relating to technology or even medical care especially upon referral which becomes inevitable sometimes.

Tabaro said it’s now easy to get all the MPs chorusing in support of the Speaker because they are fortune-hunting and expecting some immediate favors but time will come when Anita Among will personally feel the pinch and how painfully constraining it can be to be sanctioned as an individual. He made such a compelling case to the extent that would-be Anita Among defenders like Abdul Katuntu and Dickson Kateshumbwa had to find a more cautious way to make their point on the show to avoid coming off shabby.

Abdul Katuntu admitted that it’s not going to be easy for Among and added that this is something the President had privately warned them and the leadership of Parliament about. That days after passing the anti-homosexuality law, Gen Museveni summoned seven key leaders and influencers from Parliament to State House Entebbe for a private discussion during which he alerted them to prepare for the global consequences of the law which they had just enacted.

“He told us yes you have passed it but please prepare for the consequences which you are going to face as a country and yourselves as individuals,” Katuntu reminisced.

WHY HATE ANITA AMONG:

He proceeded to make it clear that as key advisors of Anita Among, they saw all this sanctioning coming and they expect her to be emotionally prepared for even much worse. Abdul Katuntu said that beyond just the anti-homosexuality enactment, there are more reasons for the British and Americans and their other allies to be angry against Anita Among.

That she will never be forgiven over the manner in which she humiliated the UK, Malta, Australia and New Zealand governments regarding the unexpectedly very successful Commonwealth Speakers & Presiding Officers Conference the Ugandan Parliament hosted at Munyonyo last January.That all these countries, especially Britain which is the patron of the 72 member countries’ Commonwealth, worked hard to frustrate that Conference in order to deflate and humiliate Among because of the very inspiring uncompromising stand she had taken against gay people in Uganda.

That the British and the other leading countries wrote to and physically reached out lobbying heads of Parliaments in the 72 countries not to attend the Kampala Conference, only to die in their movies.Katuntu says that he was facilitated by the leadership of Parliament to be away for three months travelling to all these countries to undo the damage, lies and fake news that had been spread by the British about Uganda’s unsuitability to host the Conference.

“There was this photo of UPDF torturing a man [photo journalist James Akena] in broad day light on the streets. They had shared footage of that everywhere saying this is how gay people are treated in Uganda. We explained and in the end, the Kampala Conference was very successful.”Katuntu says in the end, all African countries that Commonwealth members attended as did leading powers from the Asia sub-continent including Pakistan and others.

He says the British, Australia, Malta and even New Zealand were so angry that majority of the Commonwealth countries defied them and came to Kampala for the Anita Among-chaired Conference and even stayed in the country for several days.The potential future Minister of Foreign Affairs added that even when they are the patron of the Commonwealth, the British stayed away from the Kampala Conference in a bid to discredit Anita Among yet all the other countries overlooked their hostility and still came.

Katuntu was the chairman for the Organizing Committee and personally reached out to the Commonwealth Secretary General who assured him he would personally attend only to pull out at the last minute after the British put him under a lot of pressure.

“We had very good numbers turning up and the Speakers pronounced themselves on many things in support of Uganda and their colleague Anita Among all of which must have made them [UK & Co] to feel hurt,” said Katuntu after journalist Agather Atuhaire, a renowned hater of Anita Among, tasked him to particularly explain why he believes the Kampala January 2024 Conference was very successful.

“They stayed here and we took them around the country and they saw for themselves that Uganda was totally peaceful and different from the picture that had been painted to them about our country.”

Katuntu further disclosed that he worked hard to make sure, as the Organizing Committee Chairperson, that he gets all the UK, Canada & Co’s concerns addressed so as to deny them reason or justification to discredit the Conference but they remained uncompromising because the target was Anita Among who was going to chair the same.

“I reached the point of asking Canada to have the issue of homosexuality on the agenda so that we exhaustively discuss it as members during the Conference even if we didn’t have any other item on the agenda but they refused.”

Katuntu said he is angry and embarrassed about political corruption in Uganda but the same ought not to be used by the British to settle personal scores against Anita Among. He said if they are really objective and well-meaning about punishing the corrupt, the British should equally have sanctioned Minister Amos Lubolobi because he has such a bad case having used the Karamoja Mabaatis to roof his livestock house at his farm in Kayunga unlike Among who personally never benefited from the same.

Katuntu counselled that Among has to be emotionally prepared because the powerful countries in the West won’t be stopping making her pay for the role she played in the anti-homosexuality enactment. He said they have information in their camp that lots of sanctions are being prepared to cover several other individuals including Asuman Basalirwa who moved the private member’s bill which resulted into the controversial law. He said there are many other leaders at Parliament who have already been sanctioned except that you only get to know the day you apply for visa.

“I would like to advise my brother, the Honorable Asuman Basalirwa to never even try to apply for a UK, US and EU visa because they won’t give him. It’s the same thing that our sister, the Honorable Sarah Opendi learnt some time back when her application for a visa was disallowed.”

Journalist Agather Atuhaire, who some think personally hates the Speaker Anita Among, rejected the Katuntu submission and demanded to know why the Speaker’s predecessor Rebecca Kadaga, who presided over enactment of a similar law as was moved by David Bahati, was never treated or sanctioned the same way by the British or any of their allies.

The fearless journalist from Ankole in Western Uganda maintained that Anita Among is a very deceptive political leader who she is pleased was rightly sanctioned by the UK for engagement in corruption. Agather Atuhaire also rejected Among’s claim that she doesn’t own even a pussy in the UK. She asserted that the stinking rich Bukedea Woman MP has property and assets in UK and vowed to publish pictures and videos of the same on a future date which she didn’t disclose.
