“The Truth Will Set Me Free From The Blackmail Of Homosexuals” Speaker Anita Among Responds To Museveni Over Her Alleged Multi-Billion House In UK

It appears the hullabaloo surrounding the sanctioning of Speaker Anita Among and two former Ministers by the UK over the Karamoja Mabati Scandal which they say is corruption and has no place in their land is not yet to end soon.

However, the net of allegations widened on Speaker Anita Among whom the UK informed president Museveni that she owns a house in London which they believe is from the proceeds of corruption.

President Museveni in a letter flying on social media this evening has revealed that he has got information contrary to what Speaker Anita Among told her and the information he has got indicates she indeed owns a house in the UK in form of a flat but he wants to know whether the speaker owns it or rents it.

“I have got information that is contrary to what you told me, that you indeed, own a house in London in the form of Flat 4, Silk House House, 7 Waterdon road, London E20 3AL, United Kingdom”-reads Museveni letter in part.

At the instigation of the president’s letter naming the said house, Anita Among has this evening decided to open up and come clean on the allegations being thrown at her regarding ownership of property in London.

In a long post she made on her social media handles, Anita Among has refuted the claims indicating the said house the UK claims she owns is instead owned by another person as per the records in the UK land registration department.

“The alleged house plot, Flat 4, Silk house, 7 Waterden Road, London E20 3AL, United Kingdom, which they inform the President is own by myself, surely has an owner who is registered in their own system (the UK Government), and this owner as their own record, is not Anita Among”-says Anita Among.

The Speaker just like before attributes her troubles and woes to her spirited fight against homosexuality owing to the Anti-Homosexuality Act 2023 which Bugiri Municipality legislator Asuman Basalira tabled in parliament and passed in unison by parliament in May 2023 and signed into law.

“Fellow Ugandans, while this matter is exciting to some because of our own internal political contradictions and intrigue, I insist and wish to alert all, soundly, that the issue is not the alleged corruption or ownership in the UK.” She Says

The attempts to forge and claim that I own property when their own records show the contrary tell it all. The real crux of the matter is about targeting Anita Among for being vocal against homosexuality. The rest is a cover-up”- Anita further says.
