Moments after the Presidency Minister clarified that the newly appointed Assistant RDCs and RCCs have been appointed and deployed to work under the current RDCs/RCCs, social media released a story alleging deployment as Assistant RCC Rubaga the Kampala’s contraversial journalist Arnold Musamali.

Jubilations and congulatory messages are flooding the purported lucky individuals whose names are circulating on social media platforms that they successfully secured the employments.

But Hajji Yunus Kakande, the Permanent Secretary in the office of the president has refuted the alleged appointment of Musamali.

“I don’t have such a name on the list in my office,” said Kakande Sunday afternoon when contacted.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of “Freeman News,” a local news website, the controversial Musamali now remains a news publisher, reporting stories and quoting sources on his website.

On her part, Presidency Minister Milly Babalanda has asked the general public to remain calm and avoid speculations as her ministry finalizes with paperwork to release the list of all the Assistant RDCs.

“I hereby clarify and confirm to the general public that the President’s Office has recruited two staff members in the RDC office to support activities in the office. When we are complete with the requisite public service procedures, a full list of successful staff will be published for your attention and support. BMB”- Babalanda posted on her X-platform.

It has, however, leaked to us that Musamali has for long been trying to lobby and position himself for any state appointment, the reason he often times make attacks on big government officials.
