Woman Brutally Arrested While Demanding Apology From Speaker Anita Among Over Her Anti Baganda Comments
A woman was arrested by Police after she called upon the speaker of parliament of the Republic of Uganda, Honorable Among Annet to issue an apology for allegedly making tribal remarks.
Taking to different social media platforms to speak on this, Parliament of the Republic of Uganda has defended Speaker Among Annet who was accused of allegedly making tribal remarks, an incident that caught the attention of several Ugandans who took to their different social media platforms to speak on this.
Several sources have confirmed that the speaker who was speaking in parliament was allegedly heard saying ‘make sure the Baganda don’t get numbers’, she allegedly forgot to turn off her microphone.
Taking to his different social media platforms to speak on this, Kampala City Mayor Erias Lukwago has stated that the speaker should issue a public apology to all Ugandans adding that this is something that should be done as soon as possible.
A video that is currently making rounds on social media platforms shows the woman being arrested by Police officers after she started protesting against the remarks of the speaker of the parliament of the Republic of Uganda.
