You Either Resign Now Or Apologize!! Lord Mayor Lukwago Sends Tough Message To Speaker Anita Among Over The Anti Baganda Comments

Speaker Anita Anita’s slip of the tongue during a heated parliamentary session during the coffee debate has cast her in the corner and at the receiving end over what many have termed as tribal sentiments not good for a leader of her caliber.
In a video picked from the National broadcaster UBC, Anita Among seems to have forgoten to mute the mic when she was sending legislators to prepare for the controversial vote of the bill’s second reading where she said to the other member of parliament that Make Sure Those ‘Baganda Don’t Get The Numbers’.
Despite the controversy and huge opposition, the bill sailed through to the next steps. Many members of parliament are against the rationalization of the Uganda Coffee Development Authority (UCDA) to take it back to it’s mother minister of Agriculture, Animal Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF).
Majority contend that the Ministry despite having Minister Frank Tumwebaze and his juniors Bright Rwamirama (Animal Industry), Fred Bwino Kyakulaga (Crops) and Hellen Adoa (Fisheries), they have failed to deliver. MPs have termed it as a sick ministry.
Now Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago has unequivocally lashed at Speaker Anita Among for being tribal and has urging her to retract her statement and apologize or they push her for resignation.
Elsewhere on social media, netizens are also calling upon the Leader of Opposition Joel Ssenyonyi to commence an impeachment of the very influential, super rich and powerful Speaker Anita Among.
