Suspected ADF Collaborator Nabbed In Kasese , Police Reveals The Shocking Things He Was Doing

Ugandan security forces have apprehended an alleged collaborator of the Allied Democratic Forces (ADF) rebel group.
According to a statement issued this Monday afternoon by police spokesperson Fred Enanga, the arrest occurred in the Hima Division, Kasese District, western Uganda.
“Peter Akugizibwe, alias Suliman, was captured by the joint counter-terrorism task force comprising intelligence and counter-terrorism units,” stated Enanga.
“He was reportedly employed as a subcontractor for True North Company Limited in the cement production division of Hima Cement,” Enanga stressed.
Authorities suspect Akugizibwe of providing material assistance to the ADF, a Ugandan Islamist insurgent group active in the eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC).
Enanga affirmed that, “Akugizibwe was providing material assistance to the ADF and was under scrutiny and surveillance by the joint anti-terror task team prior to his arrest. A search of his premises yielded incriminating evidence.”
ADF is accused of detonating explosives in Uganda and targeting prominent individuals in the country.Ugandan forces are collaborating closely with their Congolese counterparts to dismantle the ADF movement in North Kivu.
Enanga remarked, “The collaborative effort between the joint anti-terror task force and local teams in the Rwenzori region led to the successful disruption of the plans of individuals supporting the ADF terrorist organization.”
