Controversial as he is, pastor Bugingo is again the centre of criticism after he asked his followers to collect an amount between Shs70m to Shs100m.

The amount is not for finishing or for doors and windows of Pentagon but according to him he needs that amount in just two days.As usual his gullible congregants are seen lining up on the pulpit to donate to their pastor who said he wants only those serious not jokers to take the money.

He’s seen in the video also ordering his body guard to write down their names, amount and their contacts. The money is meant to facilitate a big crusade ahead of Easter that will take place at Canaan land and Bugingo says it’s the last to happen at his church premises.Early this year, Bugingo was attached by unknown gunmen who rained bullets on his monster vehicle LexusV8.

The attack left Bugingo with minor injuries but his SFC bodyguard Richard Muhumuza didn’t survive despite the pastor driving him himself to Mulago to medical attention.Amidst the pain, Bugingo announced that he has suspended collections for his church construction dubbed ‘Pentagon’.

He has been collecting billions for PENTAGON construction since 2017 and the foundation or a brick is yet to be laid at Canaan land.

Netizens are now once again lashing at Bugingo for continuously draining his congregants without showing where the money goes and what the previous collected amount has so far done.

But a government policy in the offing will now force pastors to account for the money they collect and what they do with the money. It should be remembered that in January this year , Bugingo also announced that some church arrangements remain suspended until further notice as him and the Christians at Canaan are heart broken.

The visibly emotional pastor also suspended any more collections for the building of Pentagon, a church building he has promised his church goers and have been collecting for cash for it since 2018.

Bugingo also suspended the celebrations of his ministry celebrating 13 years in existence having started from Bat Valley. These were set to take place on the 28th of this month and according to the arrangements, a mega fundraising for Pentagon had been organized but all this remains suspended until every one settles emotionally.
