Sad News!! Nasty Accident Befalls Bobi Wine’s Convoy – See Death Details
A NUP supporter unfortunately died and many others got life threatening injuries after a nasty accident that took place on Monday evening.The nasty accident accident reportedly took place when the convoy escorting NUP head Bobi Wine also Known as Kyagulanyi Ssentamu was traveling to kigorobya Sub-county in Hoimae district to attend a compaign rally for the party’s candidate in election.
Mr Julius Hakiza, the Albertine region police spokesperson affirmed the incident and known the deceased as Mr Norman Mugisa, a resident of Kiryatete. As per Hakiza, the nasty accident took place when Mr Mugisa was knocked by unidentified cars and motorcycles within the convoy.
“At 5:30 pm, we received reports of a tragic incident where one person lost his life on the spot, and ten others sustained injuries. These individuals were part of the convoy heading to Kigorobya sub county to attend a campaign rally for NUP candidate Mr Moses Aguuda. The incident took place at Mumpuda along Hoima-Buliisa road,” Hakiza explained.
He revealed that the deceased was a technician from Buhimba Town council in Kibuube district, and was a passenger on one of the rides.
