In a concerning development, Uganda Police have announced that three additional terrorists are still on the loose in the country. This revelation follows the apprehension of a suspected terrorist, Kintu Ibrahim, who was found in possession of an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) at Rubaga Miracle Centre, a church led by renowned preacher Pastor Robert Kayanja.

According to Patrick Onyango, the spokesperson for Kampala Metropolitan Police, Kintu Ibrahim confessed to being part of a group of four terrorists dispatched for a yet-unspecified mission. The remaining three individuals are currently being pursued by law enforcement agencies.

Onyango affirmed that Kintu Ibrahim is cooperating with the authorities to track down the fugitives. Counter-terrorism officers accompanied Kintu Ibrahim to Pastor Robert Kayanja’s church, where he was arrested while attempting to gain entry. The bag he carried was found to contain a dangerous IED, prompting the bomb squad to conduct a controlled detonation to neutralize the threat.
