Shameful!! Mbarara Famous Tycoon Arrested For Sodomizing A University Student After Promising Him A Good Job – Found With Condoms & Lubricants

Police in Mbarara City Central are investigating circumstances under which a 22-year-old male adult resident of Kisenyi cell, Kakoba ward, Mbarara city was sodomized by one Tumushabe Nelson, a male adult in Mbarara City central market.

On the evening of October 10, 2023, it is alleged that the suspect took advantage of the victim under the pretense of finding him work.The victim encountered the suspect Tumushabe near Mile Two on the Mbarara-Masaka Road on Monday, October 9, 2023, about 7:00 p.m., according to a statement made by the Rwizi Region Police near the time, the victim was looking for work in Mbarara City.

The suspect also stopped him and pretended to be speaking with the victim.  He thereafter asked what the victim was doing in Mbarara City. The victim revealed to him how he was looking for a job which the suspect promised to give him.

The suspect then took the victim to his home which is located in the same area and it was at around 1:00 am, the suspect turned against the victim, threatened him and forced anal sex ( sodomised ) him.The victim was taken for breakfast by the suspect in the morning, and they then went to the Mbarara Central Market, where the suspect works.

It was at this point that the suspect told the victim that it would be difficult for him to get a job since he didn’t have a national identity card. The victim went to the police to report the incident as a result.The victim was examined by a task force of investigators, according to the police, who discovered that he had inflammations and had been sodomized.

Police say that a task team of investigators subjected the victim to a medical examination which established that he had inflammations and had been sodomized which led to the arrest of the suspect.

The team proceeded to the scene of the crime and documented it, upon search several tangible exhibits were recovered which included, 22 personal lubricants-water base oil, 52 condoms, 19 strips of HIV testing kits and 02 tins of ARVs recovered and exhibited.Police say that inquiries into the matter are still ongoing and the suspect is being detained at Mbarara central police station.
