Uganda Cranes Vs Mali!! FUFA Confirms Venue & Date Of The Match

Despite missing out on this year’s AFCON championships that are set to take place in Cameroon, the Uganda National Men’s Football Team is not relaxing.

The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has already confirmed a friendly for the boys in October, against West Africa giants Mali.The association association through its X handle confirmed on Thursday that the Cranes will face off against Mali on October 13th 2023, in Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako-Mali.

“FUFA confirms that the National Football Senior team, @UgandaCranes will utilise the FIFA international break in October 2023. With the search for a new head coach for Uganda Cranes ongoing, FUFA has continued with the technical and sporting preparations of the team by lining up an international friendly match with Mali on 13th October 2023. The match will be played at Stade du 26 Mars in Bamako.” as posted on X

The Association is looking at utilising the upcoming international break in October to keep the national team players occupied, amidst the time when the team is yet to announce who the next Head Coach will be after parting ways with Micho.
