Full Figure has come out strongly against supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP) following the suspension of her morning show on Salt TV. The Uganda Communications Commission (UCC) directed the station to immediately halt the program, which she co-hosted alongside veteran actor Mzee Ssenkubuge. The decision has sparked heated conversations online, with many NUP followers openly celebrating what they consider a victory.

The timing of this suspension has drawn particular attention because it comes only days after Full Figure was viciously attacked by unknown assailants. She insists the attackers were linked to media personality and lawyer Justine Namere, alleging that they had been sent to harm her. The incident, which left her badly injured and nearly lifeless, already generated an outpouring of sympathy and condemnation before this latest development unfolded.

In response, Full Figure took to social media with a lengthy video directly addressing her critics. She dismissed NUP supporters who were jubilant over her suspension, saying they have little relevance in her life. According to her, carrying Bobi Wine’s image on their profiles does not make them important. She went further, claiming she once shared a deep personal relationship with the NUP leader, a connection that sets her apart from the ordinary supporters now mocking her.

She emphasized that most NUP foot soldiers are nameless and powerless, insisting that her past closeness to Bobi Wine gives her a unique standing. Even after her move to the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM), she argued, Bobi Wine still values her more than many of the faceless online critics. Full Figure insisted that no amount of insults or celebrations on social media can diminish her relevance.

Her criticism did not stop with NUP supporters. Full Figure also attacked a former Bukedde TV female journalist who praised UCC’s suspension of her show. She accused the journalist of hypocrisy, arguing that she had gone abroad in search of a better life but failed to succeed. According to Full Figure, such a person has no moral ground to belittle or comment on her career.

She further turned her fire on the Beat FM crew, who also applauded the UCC decision. Full Figure accused them of being far more vulgar and abusive in their own broadcasts, yet untouched by regulators. Additionally, she singled out blogger Izaak Kasuku, accusing him of celebrating her downfall because he has long harbored ambitions of taking her place at Salt TV.

Despite all these setbacks, Full Figure vowed not to bow to pressure from her critics. She declared that she will continue to stand firm, no matter how much opposition or ridicule she faces.
