Once upon a time budding gospel singer, Maggie Kayima alias Nabbi Omukazi has shocked many after she disclosed that she and Pastor Yiga used to chew themselves uninsulated despite knowing his HIV status.

The singer became a major figure in the music industry about a decade and half ago. Her fame was catalyzed by controversies surrounding her self-titled prophetess title. She was by then under Pastor Yiga’s Revival Band.

Allegations of being the late Pastor’s wife started emanating slowly but they both brushed them aside. She has however now revealed that they used to chew each other and she was in fact in love with him.

However, when they started their relationship, she did not know that he was HIV positive, they engaged in unprotected intercourse for a long period of time. It was in 2012 when he went to South Africa that reality hit her.

While there, Yiga became so sick that he was bedridden and told he had to start ARVs. He called Maggie and told her a thing that shocked her. In her mind, she diagnosed herself already but when they went to two different hospitals, the tests turned out negative for her and positive for Yiga.

Even then, she did not stop sleeping with him. They continued their sexual relationship that was still unprotected. When she finally left him, she still was negative. Nabbi Omukazi added that the reason she left him was because he was too insecure and very jealous.

He could deploy the military to guard her and at times spy on her to make sure that she wasn’t seeing any other man.
