While netizens were pressuring musician Cindy Sanyu to thank Sheebah Karungi for having battled with her musically, Cindy did contrary to what everyone else expected. She said she did not have to thank Sheebah because she did not provide her with a platform but it is rather Victoria University that did.

Cindy Sanyu however knows the right people to thank because she showered praises to musician turned politician Bobi Wine for selling her name, especially Internationally.

According to Cindy, says she wouldn’t be as famous as she is in places such as the Caribbean if it weren’t for Bobi Wine. She stated however that it was his efforts that took their collabo “Dilemma” to all those international places and therefore she has him to thank for all that.

“I thank God that one day before Bobi Wine became what he is today, I got the opportunity to work with him. Working with him has been such a blessing in my life not just on stage but also because he made me so famous in Jamaica and so many other places.” Stated Cindy.

Cindy just emerged a fortnight ago from the biggest concert of her life, a battle between fellow talented artist Sheebah Karungi. The former Blu*3 is also thankful that the hype during the build-up to the concert mid-last month helped revive and popularize some of her old songs such as Dilemma, Copy Cat, and others.
