This might sound unbelievable, but it really happened to me. My name is Felix, and I live in Kayole. I completed primary school in 2011, but life took a different turn. I started doing small jobs, helped my mum with hawking, and later joined a garage in Industrial Area as a casual worker.

Over the past few years, I’ve been trying to apply for technical courses so I can become a certified mechanic. But whenever I was asked for my KCPE index number, I would freeze. I had completely lost the slip. My mum had moved houses, and everything had been displaced.

They gave me a postal address for the exams council, but there too, I was told I needed to give the year, school code, index number, or at least an official document. I had none of these.

I was close to giving up. The garage owner wanted to help me join a reputable training centre in Kiambu, but I couldn’t register without that number. My mum encouraged me to pray, and I did. But for a long time, nothing happened. To Read More, Tap Here
