In a disturbing turn of events, journalist Musamaali Arnold, commonly known as Freeman, has come under scrutiny for his alleged involvement in extortion and intimidation tactics within the journalistic community.

Freeman has been accused of falsely claiming to work with the Internal Security Organization (ISO) and exploiting this fabricated connection to extort money from both the public and fellow journalists.

Recent reports indicate that Freeman’s deception and manipulation have escalated to alarming levels. In a chilling incident, he allegedly threatened a journalist affiliated with the KAMPALA EYE, warning of dire consequences, including death, purportedly facilitated by his purported high-level government connections.

According to sources, Freeman has boasted about engaging in purported high-profile meetings with intelligence officials and other government figures. These claims have raised eyebrows within the journalistic community, casting doubt on the integrity of Freeman’s professional conduct.

However when this website contacted Mr Faruk Kirunda, the Deputy Press Secretary to President Museveni , he confirmed that he doesn’t know him nor has he held meetings with him at State House.

This is not the first time Freeman has found himself embroiled in controversy. Last year, he made headlines after being arrested for attempting to disrupt the wedding ceremony of the Kyabazinga of Busoga and his wife, Inhebantu Queen Jovia Mutesi. His disruptive behavior during this high-profile event further tarnished his reputation and raised questions about his motives.

As the allegations against Freeman continue to surface, there is growing concern about the impact of his actions on journalistic ethics and credibility. The journalistic community is urged to remain vigilant and uphold the principles of integrity and truthfulness in their reporting.

Efforts to reach Freeman for comment on these allegations have been unsuccessful thus far. Authorities are expected to conduct a thorough investigation into the matter to ascertain the truth behind these troubling accusations.

Stay tuned for further developments on this unfolding story.
