From a Grass-Thatched House to a Stunning Mansion!! Our Journey of Struggle and Breakthrough
Life was tough for our family. For many years, we lived in a small grass-thatched house in a remote village in Luweero. When it rained, water would leak through the roof, the dusty floor would turn muddy, and sometimes snakes would slither in during the night. We were not just poor—it often felt like we were under a dark cloud.
No matter how much effort we put in, nothing seemed to change. We farmed the land, sold charcoal, and even kept goats, but whatever little we earned disappeared fast, and problems kept piling up. We watched as other families made progress while we remained stuck in the same situation.
My husband and I have always been hardworking. We never waited for miracles or handouts. Every morning, we woke up early, determined to feed our children and survive another day.
