BREAKING!! New Details Leak On How Besigye & Group Allegedly Plotted to Kill Museveni Using Killer Drones
Shocking new details have emerged in court revealing how veteran opposition leader Dr. Kizza Besigye and his group allegedly planned to assassinate President Yoweri Museveni using highly sophisticated drones designed to target and destroy the presidential plane while in flight.

According to court documents and reports from security agencies, the state has built a case claiming that Besigye and several other prominent opposition figures were involved in a secret plot to eliminate the president. The group allegedly met at a hidden location where the plan was discussed in detail.
The accusations point to a man known as Wakayima Joel, said to be based in Europe and formerly connected to the late Dr. Aggrey Kiyingi, as the one who first introduced the idea. Wakayima reportedly contacted Salaam Musumba and proposed a plan to end Museveni’s reign. She allegedly shared the idea with Besigye, who, according to court documents, became interested and agreed to explore it further.
Besigye, together with Hon. Lubega Mukaaku, Charles Rwomushana, Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago, MP Ssemujju Nganda, and others, allegedly traveled to meet Wakayima in a yet-to-be-disclosed location. There, they were introduced to an arms dealer named Andrew Wilson, who claimed to have global connections with drone and weapons manufacturers.
Wilson reportedly told the group he could supply advanced military-grade drones that were capable of tracking and shooting down Museveni’s presidential jet. He also claimed the drones could be used to launch surprise attacks on Ugandan military barracks, including installations in Mbuya, Makindye, Nakasongola, Bwebajja, and the Special Forces Command (SFC) headquarters in Entebbe.
According to court evidence, Besigye allegedly brought maps and information showing sensitive military and government locations, including State House Nakasero and State House Entebbe, as part of their targeting plan.
Wilson reportedly went even further, promising to organize military training for selected FDC youth and supporters, starting with a briefing in Kisumu, Kenya, followed by full training in Zambia. However, the group’s plans were reportedly disrupted before they could proceed to Zambia.
The case took a dramatic turn when Wilson, the alleged arms dealer, reportedly got cold feet and decided to inform senior officials in the UPDF and SFC. This betrayal shocked Besigye’s group, and according to reports, once President Museveni was briefed on the matter, he was extremely alarmed and ordered Besigye’s arrest in November 2024.
Further details from the case claim that Besigye also asked for a deadly poison called Ricin, intending to use it against government officials who would resist their mission. He also allegedly explored the idea of printing fake Ugandan currency to destabilize the economy and create public anger against the government.
Despite these serious allegations, Dr. Besigye has strongly denied any involvement in such a plan. He insists that his meeting with the foreign national was purely for fundraising purposes for his political organization, People’s Front for Transition (PFT). He has described the charges as politically motivated and false.
The Nakawa Chief Magistrate, Christine Nantege, has set June 26, 2025, as the date to rule on whether the state can examine Besigye’s and Kamulegeya’s electronic devices for possible evidence connected to the alleged plan.
As the nation watches closely, this case continues to shake the political scene in Uganda, raising deep questions about truth, power, and security at the highest levels.
