BREAKING NEWS!! Molly Katanga Finally Breaks Silence On The Murder Of Her Husband, See What Got Ugandans Talking
The murder trial of Molly Katanga, the woman accused of killing her husband, Henry Katanga, resumed recently at the High Court in Kampala. The case took a dramatic twist when Detective Superintendent of Police (DSP) Rashida Naluzze gave her testimony as the 19th prosecution witness.

DSP Naluzze told the court that she interviewed Molly in February 2024 while she was admitted at International Hospital Kampala (IHK), where she was recovering from injuries sustained during the incident. According to the detective, Molly was calm but emotionally shaken and confused when asked about her husband’s death.
The court heard that Molly first learned of her husband’s death from her lawyers at Kampala Associated Advocates, not from police officers or doctors. This news reportedly shocked her, and she claimed to have no memory of what had happened on the day of the murder, which occurred on November 2, 2023, at their home in Mbuya, a suburb near Kampala.
Molly allegedly told police that the last thing she could remember was being in her bedroom. She said everything after that was blank, including how she ended up in the hospital. DSP Naluzze said the statement was recorded in the presence of other officers while Molly was still recovering.
Despite the serious charges against her, Molly Katanga has continued to deny any involvement in her husband’s death. Her legal team from Kampala Associated Advocates remains firm in defending her innocence.
The courtroom was silent as DSP Naluzze described Molly’s confused state and her emotional response during the questioning. There was no resistance or aggression—just a woman who, according to the detective, seemed lost and deeply disturbed by the news of her husband’s passing.
As the trial continues, the public remains gripped by the twists and turns of this high-profile case. With more witnesses expected to testify, the full truth behind Henry Katanga’s death is yet to unfold.
