A Ugandan woman working abroad, commonly known as a Kadama, has taken to social media in tears, accusing a popular TikTok personality and self-proclaimed herbalist, Dr Cepco, of conning her out of 10 million Ugandan shillings in exchange for a fake relationship.

The woman, who goes by the TikTok name Life of Tee, said she met Dr Cepco on the app and quickly fell in love with him after chatting for a few months. According to her, Dr Cepco seemed charming and convincing, constantly reassuring her that his love was genuine.

As their online romance grew, Dr Cepco allegedly began asking for money. He promised her that if she sent him 10 million shillings, it would be a sign of her commitment — and in return, he would truly love her and be in a serious relationship with her. Believing his words, she wired the money.

However, things took a painful turn soon after. Instead of fulfilling his promises, Dr Cepco reportedly started insulting her. According to Life of Tee, he began mocking her appearance, telling her that he couldn’t love an “old woman,” accusing her of bleaching her skin, and calling her “too big.” Shortly after, he blocked her and cut off all communication.

Heartbroken and humiliated, Life of Tee turned to TikTok to share her experience and warn others. “He deceived me. He said if I gave him the money, he would love me. I did it because I believed him. Now he says I’m too old for him,” she cried in her video.

The story has gone viral, sparking widespread reactions across social media. Some people expressed sympathy and support for her, while others criticized her for trusting someone she had only met online.

Meanwhile, Dr Cepco has not yet responded to the accusations, but pressure is building as more people call for him to explain his side.

This incident has raised concerns about online relationships and the dangers of sending money to people you meet on social media. Life of Tee’s emotional story serves as a painful lesson and a warning to others — that not everyone online has good intentions, and love should never come with a price tag.
